A two-ingredient chocolate sauce — chocolate and cream. Warm sauce for ice cream, parfait, profiteroles or pancakes.
Ingredients
- 100 g chocolate
- 1 dl cream
Directions
Make the sauce
Break the chocolate into pieces. Heat it in the cream, stirring constantly. Cook the sauce until it is smooth and glossy.
Serving
Serve warm with ice cream, parfait, pancakes or fruit.
Notes
- Use dark chocolate (70%) for a more intense flavour, or milk chocolate for a milder version.
- The sauce thickens as it cools — reheat it gently with a little extra cream.
- A pinch of flaky salt on top gives a nice contrast.
- Keeps in the fridge for 3–4 days.
