Something not working, or not making sense? Write to maxm@mxm.dk.
Kvali is run by one person, so you will get a real reply — just not always a fast one. If it is broken, say what you were doing and what happened; that is usually enough to find it.
Report a bug from the app
The app has a “Report a bug” button in the Household tab. It sends your message along with your platform and app version, which is usually what makes a bug findable. It is the quickest way to tell us something is wrong.
Common things
I forgot my password. Tap “Forgot your password?” on the login screen. You get a 6-digit code by email; it works for 15 minutes and once only. If the email does not arrive, check spam, then write to us.
I want my data. Household tab → “Download my data”. You get everything as JSON — account, your recipes, meal plans, shopping lists, favourites, dietary settings, bug reports.
I want my account gone. Household tab → “Delete account”. It is immediate and cannot be undone. Recipes and plans you shared with a household stay with the household — they belong to everyone in it.
The app is not loading anything. Kvali runs on a single small server. If it is down, your current week, shopping list and today’s cooking still work offline on your phone. Try again shortly; if it stays down, tell us.
A recipe looks wrong. Tell us which one. The recipes come from our own kitchen and our own testing, and we would rather fix an error than leave it.
What Kvali will not do for you
Kvali is not dietary or medical advice. If you have an allergy or a condition, check the ingredients yourself every time — the dietary filters are best-effort and can miss something. We would rather say that plainly than have you assume otherwise.
