Magic Sauce - Vietnamese Dipping Fish Sauce

Sốt thần kỳ / Nuoc Cham — A quick Vietnamese dipping sauce that balances sour, sweet, salty, and heat in one small bowl. It is the sauce used in the Whole Crispy Fish with Mango Salad.
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp fish sauce
- ½ tbsp mild red chilli, pounded
- ½ tbsp garlic, pounded
Directions
- Place all ingredients in a small bowl.
- Stir until the sugar dissolves and the sauce is well combined.
- Taste and adjust with extra lime juice or sugar if needed.
