Magic Sauce

Sốt thần kỳ — A quick Vietnamese dipping sauce that balances sour, sweet, salty, and heat in one small bowl. It is the sauce used in the Whole Crispy Fish with Mango Salad.

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp fish sauce
  • 1 tbsp mild red chilli and garlic, pounded

Directions

Method

  1. Place all ingredients in a small bowl.
  2. Stir until the sugar dissolves and the sauce is well combined.
  3. Taste and adjust with extra lime juice or sugar if needed.
